She's an actress, a worldwide pop sensation and justin bieber's on and off again girlfriend but how did she get here? This is the Evolution of Selena Gomez.

Selena Gomez started her acting career on the pbs hit "Barney and Friends" at the age of 7. While on set, she met her friend Demi Lovato.
In 2007 Selena was chosen by the disney channel to become their next big superstar and cast her in "wizards of waverly place" where she would also record music for the show. In this audition, Selena shares who she'd like her career to emulate.
Soon after, Selena signed to Hollywood Records and started a band called 'Selena Gomez and the Scene'. The three albums they released between 2009 and 2011, 'Kiss & Tell', 'A Year Without Rain' and 'When the Sun Goes Down', were each certified gold.
In 2007 Selena made her big screen debut in "Ramona and Beezus". She followed that with starring roles in "Monte Carlo", "Hotel Transylvania" and most recently her most adult role, "Spring Breakers"
After dating Taylor Lautner for a short stint, Selena met Justin Bieber after his manager contacted her mom. In 2011, she attended the vanity fair oscar party with Bieber confirming months of rumors that two were dating. While on her first tour with 'The Scene', Justin was on hand to show his support.
After two years together, there on-again off-again relationship continues.
In may of 2013 she dropped her solo debut, "Come and Get It" which featured a much more adult Selena.
