National Ballet of Armenia Short Videos (playlist)
The National Ballet of Armenia was founded in 1933. Roudolf Kharatian was named artistic director of the ballet as of October 1, 2009. The company currently counts some 65 dancers and is housed at the Armenian National Opera and Ballet Theatre. Performances are accompanied by the theatre's resident orchestra. The current season's repertoire includes Romeo and Juliet, Don Quixote, Spartacus, Giselle, Gayane, Chopiniana, La Revancha del Tango, Vartanank, Bach's Passion, Stabat Mater, and two world premieres, Bolero (Ravel), and La Primavera (Vivaldi), both by Roudolf Kharatian.
