The film shows how The Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen and conductor Paavo Järvi approach Beethoven's symphonies, as they prepare to play all nine of them in four days at the Beethovenfest Bonn. The Estonian conductor and members of the orchestra demonstrate their enthusiasm for the music in rehearsals, concerts and behind the scenes.
